Mission: The Downriver Community Clinic is part of the Wyandotte Clinic for the Working Uninsured Foundation. The Clinic exists to provide free primary medical care to financially challenged uninsured and underinsured working adults through volunteer physicians and staff.
Goal: The Clinic's goal is to keep our patients healthy and on the job. No one should be without access to care when they need it. We are here to help.
In our first year of review, our Clinic earned a 2020 Bronze Rating from the
National Association of Free Clinics @nafclinics Quality Standards Program!

Limted to teeth cleaning, extractions, diabetic preventive maintenance and referrals to low cost dental clinics
Nutrition Counseling for Diabetes & Weight Management
Weight management referrals to nutrition and weight management classes
Men's Wellness Exams
Schedule a check up for men's health concerns. We provide screenings for testicular and prostate cancer, urinary and related issues with a urologist.
Four week class on management of diabetes including nutrition, exercise, medication.
Well woman exams, women's health concerns and screenings for breast, cervical, endometrial and skin cancers. Women's Health Services are provided year round.
Men's Health Services
Our Clinic hosts Men's Wellness Days several times per year where lab testing is ordered and reviewed and male patients meet with our urologist to discuss results and concerns. The exam with a urologist will include screenings for prostate and testicular cancer.
